Years ago and even today, police squad cars were colored black and white and had the words “To Serve and Protect” displayed on the vehicles.
It is interesting that these two colors were chosen to symbolize to “serve and protect” America’s citizens.
Often black and white officers worked together as a team. The black and white colors of the cars announced the arrival of authority and protection.
There was always the exception, but for the most part they did what they swore they would do.
If this icon of America society, the black and white, can symbolize to “Serve and Protect” then can it not also the represent the joining of black and white America as one?
