Invest $5 a week for twenty years and you’ll have a million.
Wander over to the clubhouse on the course by the sea where you will live in style.
Retire at fifty and live till a hundred in opulence.
Never mind you lived in a shack during your working years and was employed by the post office as a carrier.
You’ll do well.
I wonder if the ghost called Wall Street will be issuing retirement checks a year from now.

I was thinking..when reading your article…If people had saving a little each week when younger…there would be fewer problems today…However…when having a few dollars in the pocket there is always something to buy or do. Even ten dollars a week seems to be difficult…
Hi Carol;
There have been a lot of people who saved and invested their savings, to see it erode substantially what a medical emergency, unemployment of market meltdown occurs.
I understand totally where you are coming from.
