Who can get financing for that or will Microsoft buy it because it has a ton of money and is used to updating its customers because they are frustrated.
The situation is so dire that instead of standing and fighting, the managers decide to capitulate because they can’t take the heat for their incompetence. They should not be able to get away with it.
Get some new management and make it work.
