Thousands are laid off, and the president, CEO, CFO and other notables are still raking it in, even with cuts, and the party is still on for many.
Meanwhile you are out on the street wondering how to make your next grocery bill, pay for heat and shelter.
It is amazing isn’t it? You used to have a Black Berry so those despots could ruin your vacations and weekends and they could give a damn now.
Their day is coming, and the higher you lift yourself the harder the fall.
I agree with you wholeheartedly! People have given up family time, off hours, vacation time, even holidays for businesses they worked for only to be sent packing when times got rough. And, the upper class of those same businesses are now vacationing and partying as if nothing ever happened. It is a sad state of affairs!
