The prevailing attitude.
We look at other cultures and peoples and judge.
Judge on stuff they have. How they live. If they are poor, they are nothing.
If there is dissent in the land, they are less than nothing.
Fodder for the drones.
How dare they express their anger and frustration in retaliation!
Don’t they realize who they are dealing with? Let’s squash them like the vermin they are.
After all, only we know what’s best. We are the only “real” humans.
Aren’t we?

No; but when they have, by their choice of beliefs and actions, shown themselves to be vermin formed into a pernicious mockery of mankind, they have rendered themselves less than human and should be treated as the plague rats that they are.
All men may have been born equal, but each our actions affects that ongoing standing and a person’s or people’s humanity can be abrogated by their own tacit or explicit choices.
Once they’ve done this it behooves mankind to treat them as a danger to the public health and act accordingly to protect ourselves from them.
Hi Jonolan;
Believe it or not, I understand where you are coming from and agree to a certain extent. But as many times statements are made, there are always exceptions and we are too quick to pass judgment.
For example, after the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, I am sure there are people in both countries that did not see the reason for the invasion and took it as what it was. They live with the death, injuries and destruction. They focus on the invaders and fight back, no different a response than we would offer if someone were to invade North America.
The people who defend us would be heroes, to the invaders they would be insurgents.
There is much talk about corruption etc. We realize it goes on everywhere. In America, the large middle class saw to it that many of the social amenities we have that other countries don’t became reality.
Here corruption is also prevalent but wears a suit and tie.
There is no simple answer, yet I firmly believe for most, the basic foundation of desire remains the same, security, sustenance and a clean decent place to live and raise families. For many, the few prevent this from occurring, through propagation of ignorance and other means.
